Samsung 256GB SSD looks awesome

Most SSD proposals had so far a 128GB capacity limit. Samsung is certainly out to impress everybody with a 2.5 inch form factor, 256GB of capacity, read speeds of 200Mbps, write speeds of 160Mbps, MLC technology and SATA 2 connectivity.
Every one of us would love to have one but don’t expect pricing to help much in that direction. My new laptop has a traditional hard disc, I expect it to last till 2011, around when it is projected that SSD prices will be more down to earth…
