Second gen Pioneer Kuro to offer five times deeper black levels

The first generation Kuro TVs were already the kings of black. Despite Pioneer stopping producing them and relying on Panasonic for their manufacturing, the second generation is said to offer five times blacker blacks! Now this is going to look awesome and if CES previews are correct, the new generation models have black looking blacks even in a completely dark room!

Depth is reduced to 3.7 inches and resolution is full 1080p. Be prepared to pay $4.000 for the smaller 50-inch size and $5.500 for the 60 inches.
