Adobe Photoshop Express free online

Adobe’s Photoshop Express is now available online and free for everybody to use. Like its Premiere Express cousin, it uses Flash and all you have to do to get started is to register online. You get 2 GB of storage space and there are presentation choices. You can sync with Facebook, MySpace or Picasa and the editing choices you have are as follows:
-
Basics: crop & rotate, auto correct, exposure, red-eye removal, touchup, saturation.
-
Tuning: white balance, highlight, fill light, sharpen, soft focus.
-
Effects: pop color, hue, b&w, tint, sketch, distort.
It is possible to undo any action or revert to the original. Clearly, with today’s processing power the above capabilities could be easily integrated in a camera, however an online application can be enriched from the software vendor as required. A paid version can offer even more, however Adobe has -for understandable reasons- made sure to keep miles of distance between its Express and CS versions of Photoshop.
With all the free photo tools available online -IrfanView is suggested wholeheartedly as a viewer and for very light tasks- there’s no need to install CS3 or any other expensive piece of software with millions of functions that will remain unused. If you are curious, go to the link below and try Photoshop Express to decide for yourself.
